BANGALORE: An ayurvedic doctor jumped to death from the fourth floor of her apartment at Sampige Layout, Vijayanagar, on Monday morning. S Roopa (35) was a divorcee with two kids. She had a clinic at Pattegarapalya.

Police said Roopa landed on her legs, resulting in multiple internal fractures.

While Roopa's kin maintained her husband Lokesh constantly harassed her, leading to her suicide, police said Roopa had a complicated relationship with one Arun, who refused to marry her after her divorce. On Sunday evening, Roopa had even gone to Arun's house in MC Layout and created a scene.

In his complaint to police, Roopa's brother Rajiv said ever since they got married, Roopa and Lokesh had regular tiffs. They divorced three months ago, but Lokesh continued to harass her.
