PROVIDENCE -- A man who apparently shot and killed his wife and two children before killing himself had been treated for depression and was having marital problems, according to his wife's relatives.

Henry Randolph, 61, his wife, Patricia Randolph, 38, and their two children, Joy, 11, and Henry Jr., 8, were found dead in their Pleasant Street home Sunday, police said

Police have said they believe the killings were a murder-suicide, but have declined to say who they think pulled the trigger, citing autopsy results expected today.

But a police officer who spoke on condition of anonymity said it appeared the husband shot and killed his family, then shot himself.

Leonard Burrell, the dead woman's brother, said his sister had been concerned recently about the state of her 13-year marriage.
