When she questioned Smith about the injuries, Smith said the 2-year-old was responsible, police said. <br /><br />Doctors said the 6-month-old suffered bruises to her head, injuries to the bottom of her feet and a leg fracture, and that an examination also showed possible signs of sexual assault. <br /><br />The girl was being treated Tuesday at Riley Hospital for Children. Police did not release her condition. <br /><br />When Smith was being interviewed, she told detectives that they wanted to die, and was seen taking several doses of an antidepressant, police said. As Smith was being transported to Wishard Memorial Hospital, EMTs said she attempted to cut her neck. <br /><br />She was detained at the hospital Tuesday evening. Police released a former mug shot of Smith.&nbsp; <br /></font></div>
