The suspect in the five-hour standoff in Blackstone Tuesday night appeared in court and made another scene.

Anthony Daignault, 53, of Woonsocket caused quite a scene Tuesday night as he kept police at bay for several hours.

On Wednesday, he faced a judge in Providence District Court.

Daignault was charged with domestic disorderly conduct plus two counts of assault with a deadly weapon.

That weapon, according to police, was his SUV.  He allegedly tried to run down police officers with his vehicle.

In court Wednesday, Daignault told the judge he was on medication and he doesn't remember anything about the standoff.

Daignault remained in his SUV and reportedly threatened to kill police.

Officers from Woonsocket, Blackstone and the Massachusetts State Police worked together and the standoff ended peacefully.

The suspect's sister told NBC 10 that her brother was depressed and suicidal, and was taking medication Tuesday night.
