Ada Nicodemou has revealed that she and her husband want to make their marriage "work".
The Home and Away actress, who reunited with husband Chrys Xipolitas earlier this month after an eight-week split, said that they have both learned a lot from their time apart.
Nicodemou told New Idea magazine: "We both did a lot of things wrong. But we're working on getting on the same page with our future."
Xipolitas, who spent time in a Sydney rehab centre for rumoured depression during the break in their relationship, said: "We were growing apart and we both just felt we needed some space.
"We were apart for about eight weeks, all up. I'd been on anti-depressants for two years and I just didn't feel things."
Nicodemou added: "We want to make this work. I come from divorced parents. I definitely don't want to go down that road. I'm not naive to the fact that when you enter the union of marriage you need tools to make it work.
"I'm not ashamed to say that and I'm not embarrassed to say we are seeing a marriage counsellor. And we are also seeing a counsellor individually so we can sort through our own stuff."
