Ohio prosecutor fired for nudity wants job back

HAMILTON, Ohio (AP) -- A southwest Ohio prosecutor who was fired after being caught walking around the government building naked says he wants his job back.

Hamilton Assistant Prosecutor Scott Blauvelt says he wants to get back to work. A visiting judge says he was a classified city employee and that means he has rights to appeal his dismissal.

The city fired him after surveillance video caught him walking around the building naked after hours in 2006. He twice was charged with public indecency, but the charges were dismissed.

At the time, his attorney said he was suffering from a bad reaction to medication that was prescribed for depression and to control seizures.
