Police identify couple found dead in South Side home

San Antonio Express-News - January 7, 1995

Police have identified a couple found dead late Thursday in their near South Side home, victims of an apparent murder -suicide.

Investigators believe Anita Munoz, 65, shot her husband, Isaac Munoz, 66, then turned the gun on herself at the couple's house in the 300 block of East Arsenal Street. Police found the bodies after the couple's 32-year-old daughter called authorities shortly before 9:30 p.m.

Isaac Munoz was found in the dining room shot in the head and his wife was in a front bedroom with a gunshot wound in the roof of her mouth, police said.

A .38-caliber revolver was found near her body.

The couple's daughter told officers they had accused each other of infidelity and that the woman had been on medication for depression .
