Suicide note, loaded gun found in truck following accident

TOWN OF WILLIAMSTOWN — A 57-year-old Mayville man was taken to an area health-care facility following a one-car accident Saturday morning in the town of Williamstown, according to Dodge County dispatch logs.

The man was involved in a rollover accident about 8:24 a.m. on Zion Church Road, according to the log. A suicide note and loaded pistol were found in his truck, according to the log. The man also had taken several anti-depressant pills.

The driver was taken to St. Agnes Hospital by ambulance where he was treated and released, according to the log. He was then taken to Winnebago Mental Health Institution.
