An autopsy reports shows a man who fatally shot a Grand Prairie police officer in June had marijuana and antidepressants in his body.
Timothy Joe Irwin killed police Sergeant Gregory Hunter and wounded officer Bruce Seix on June 18th as they checked out his van in a Wal-Mart parking lot in Grand Prairie.

Seix returned fire and killed the 42-year-old Irwin, whose body was discovered seven hours later when a tactical unit stormed the van.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office says toxicology tests show marijuana, an anti-anxiety drug and antidepressants in Irwin's system.

Irwin had received a medical discharge and disability pay from the Navy, which police say was because of knee and back injuries. Police say Irwin lied when he told friends he had cancer in his back and lungs.
