Thomas Cremonte of the State Police&#39;s Brighton post.<br /><br />David Fox found his wife, Lisa Fox, 33, and the couple&#39;s son, Nathan, 8, and the dog in the boy&#39;s bedroom at about 5:30 p.m. Police said they believe the shootings took place shortly before that time.<br /><br />Lisa Fox had been treated for emotional problems after losing her 15-year-old son in an accident about a year ago, according to police reports.&nbsp; The boy apparently died after trying to start a lawn mower in the garage.<br /><br />Weapons were discovered at the scene of the shootings.&nbsp; Cremonte declined to release further details, other than to say the boy&#39;s room &quot;appeared in such a way that would lead one to believe it was a murder-suicide.&quot;<br /><br />Cremonte said the preliminary autopsy report agreed with that conclusion.<br /><br />But Cremonte said the investigation is continuing.<br /><br />If the case is a murder-suicide, it would be unusual, Cremonte said.<br /><br />&quot;Women usually don&#39;t kill themselves in such a violent manner, and women don&#39;t usually kill their children,&quot; he said.<br />___________________________<br />Sheryl James can be reached at 1-810-227-8009<br />&nbsp;<br />
