Brian McFadden touched down at Heathrow Airport today as he prepared to confront his former wife Kerry Katona over custody of their two children.

The former Westlife singer flew in from Australia, where he now lives with his singer fiancee Delta Goodrem.

It follows a series of tearful phone calls from Kerry in which she pleaded with him not to take their children away from her.

The reality TV star, 28, fears she could lose custody of their daughters Molly, seven and Lily Sue, six, after she was caught on film last month snorting cocaine at home.

The girls were reportedly in the house at the time, and now the former Westlife star, 29, who was married to Katona for four years, is consulting his lawyers, claiming she is an unfit mother.

A source said: 'Kerry is at her wits end and has been calling Brian begging him not to take her kids away.

'She has been saying to him that she can’t live without them, the kids are her whole life.

'Brian thinks her pleas are pathetic but really feels sorry for her. But his main priority are the kids and he has had enough of Kerry’s problems.'

McFadden is reportedly pushing for full custody after Delta, 24, said she is willing to raise them as her own.

The source added: 'Brian knows it will destroy Kerry if she loses her children but feels she has left him no choice. Her hysterical calls will not change his mind.'

Since the footage of her alleged drug use, Katona has been dumped from her £250,000-a-year deal with food giant Iceland.

Yesterday, she apologized on Facebook, but blamed her antics on anti-depression medication.
