SEATTLE - Carl Becker Jr. of Kirkland has been sentenced to a year in jail for choking his wife.
Becker, 44, pleaded guilty two months ago to first-degree assault. He apparently had been abusing his anti-depression medication when he attacked his wife last summer at their home.
