November 08, 2011 03:50 PM EST

For the past few weeks, Kim Richards has been making headlines because of her weird behavior on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Brandi Glanville called her out on it, explaining that she believed Kim was taking crystal meth because of her frequent visits to the bathroom. However, Kim explained in a blog post last week that her odd behavior was due to anxiety medication. In addition to that, Kim was keeping a big secret from everyone on the show; she had a man.

Kim admitted to taking Lexapro, Trazadone and Topamax - all at the same time. Lexapro is an anti-anxiety medication, which Kim may have been taking to deal with her personal issues. Her history does include anxiety attacks. Trazadone is an anti-depressant, which she may have been taking because of her troubles with her family, including her sister Kyle Richards. Topamax is an anti-seizure medication, which is often used to treat alcoholism. Kim Richards has previously revealed that she did struggle with alcoholism, so the medication may help keep her on track.

One of the housewives' husbands is indeed a doctor; he explained that her behavior is very common for someone who is taking all three medications at once. It does appear that someone is drunk, which explains the rumors that Kim Richards was still drinking.

However, Kim seems happy in her life and with her new medication. "For a long time I've done everything for my kids, for mom, for everybody else," she explains to US Magazine. "I haven't really done anything that I wanted to do. For once in my life I just want to do something that I want to do." And what a perfect time with a new man in her life.
