Alleged bank robber makes emotional court appearance

32-year-old Jeremy Bullock made his first appearance in Federal Court Wednesday aftenroon.

The Inwood, Iowa man is accused of robbing the First Midwest Bank in Centerville on Tuesday.

During his initial appearance Bullock appeared visibly shaken.  He cried as he told the judge he stopped taking his medication for ADD and Depression about three weeks ago.

The judge postponed Bullock's preliminary hearing until January 14th, when his defense attorney will be back in Sioux Falls.

On January 4th Bullock allegedly entered the Centerville Bank with a BB Gun demanding money.  After taking an undisclosed amount, he left the bank on foot.  Bullock then led police on a high speed chase, which ended up in his arrest just outside of Turkey Ridge.

Bullock is charged with Federal Bank Robbery and with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon .

He remain at the Minnehaha County Jail until his preliminary hearing.

Bullock faces up to 25 years in prison if convicted.
